Diamond Jubilee Pearls Foundation
The Diamond Jubilee Pearls Foundation of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Upsilon Mu Omega chapter is a 501 (c) (3) organization, established in 2003 to provide high school and college scholarships to students in the city of Milwaukee.
In addition to awarding scholarships, the foundation also financially supports all of the community service projects sponsored by Upsilon Mu Omega Chapter including AKA Money Camp, Family Fun Day, MLK Day of Service, Breast Cancer Walk/Run and numerous other service projects.
Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded over $100,000 to students of all ages.

AKA DAY AT THE DERBY
AKA Day at the Derby commemorates the running of the Kentucky Derby. All proceeds from this event support the Diamond Jubilee Pearls Foundation, which provides scholarships to college-bound students in the Greater Milwaukee area.

FAMILY FUN DAY
Family Fun Day is our annual back-to-school celebration, filled with games, food, and fun to kick off the new school year.

PARTY WITH A PURPOSE
Party with a Purpose is an annual fundraising event, where proceeds from ticket sales support scholarships for Milwaukee students, blending celebration with community impact.
Scholarship Applications

The Upsilon Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Dimond Jubilee Pearsl Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2025 scholarship application cycle is now open!
These scholarships provide financial assistance to graduating high school seniors who plan to attend an accredited college, university, or trade school as a full-time or part-time student and full-time college students already enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school.
A student may apply for multiple scholarships but will only be awarded one if selected. Each scholarship award will be a minimum of $2,000.
Applicants must reside in Milwaukee to be eligible.
