Adopt-A-Poll Project, April 6, 2010, North Division Campus.  Members of Upsilon Mu Omega Chapter will serve as Poll Workers for Milwaukee's Spring Election.

Boys to Men Conference, April 17, 2010 at Northcott Neighborhood House.  Young men ages 13-18 will listen to dynamic, engaging, and well-versed speakers discuss topics like financial literacy, career and educational planning, leadership skills and healthy relationships.  The day will end with a 3-on-3 basketball tournament.  Participant applications will be available Late February/Early March.  This event includes lunch, and is FREE and open to the public (registration required).
 
MALE VOLUNTTEERS NEEDED:
If you are a  male interested in volunteering to serve as a facilitator, table captain (lead discussion at assigned table during lunch), or any other capacity, please contact us at our email address listed on About Us page.
 

AKA Money Camp for Kids, was held June 21-25, 2010, 12:30-5:00 p.m. at Washington Park Library.  Milwaukee area youth will enjoy a diversity of workshops focusi-ng on financial literacy, such as: budgeting, savings, and starting a business..  Additionally, they will attend field trips that will allow them to see the inner workings of local Milwaukee businesses.  The week will culminate with the youth presenting projects. 

Applications will be available through the Library and this website the beginning of May, 2009.
Thirty students maximum.


Our 13th Annual Family Fun Day will be held August 21, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The purpose of Family Fun Day (FFD) is to provide resources, activities and entertainment to area families.  There will be a Children’s Fun area, including face painting and tattoos, as well as live music, refreshments, many special guests and numerous educational, health and financial  related activities and resources.
